Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outings to forests & near the river, the childrenās museum in Poughkeepsie, local parks. I really helping children to expand their minds. By asking open-ended questions & teaching mindfulness about our surroundings. Bringing in simple, yet profound experiences that relate to how a child feels in an environment/experience. Teaching simple math, science, language development, large & fine motor development. Arts & crafts, using recycled & interesting objects. Cuddles, giggles, lots of situations building on both emotional & intellectual intelligence.

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure each child feels loved, heard, seen, precious, safe, intellectually stimulated and great communication with parents.
My experience with special needs children...
Iāve worked with severally abused children. As well as children on the spectrum that have lost their voices. And Iāve helped them find ways of communicating. I worked with a 13 year old child that had Down Syndrome, Autism & heart & lung problems that incredibly violent, no speech & not potty trained. And Iāve worked with several children with ADHD & ADD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Whenever I use a different voice to make them giggle out of the blue. Whenever they make a connection, have an āahaā moment and feel empowered. Quiet moments of in nature or at home, exploring.
