My past experience have been with agencies that worked with kids on the autism spectrum. I worked with a caseload of 6 kids all having different ages. The setting would mainly be home but I have gone to schools such as Miami-Dade public schools and private owned day cares.

The most important part about being a nanny...
A memorable moment was while I was potty training with a 4 year old. His mother allowed him to take his ipad into the bathroom so that he could relax to release his bowel movements. While waiting for him the mother and I were conversing. After 10 minutes he opens the door quickly while still having his on hand. He had the most relieved look on his face. Because of his genuine facial expression the mother and I started laughing. This reminded me of an old man having his newspaper just to entertain himself in the bathroom and leaving the bathroom very content.
