Howdy! My name is Jennifer Nguyen. My passion in life is to help people. When my little sister was born, I was only 7 years old. My dad pushes the door open, head facing down with his eyes bloodshot red. He looks at me and says, "your sister is born. She has heart problems and can't go home for another week or so." At that moment, I felt a sting in my heart. The Neonatal Nurses rolled my sister to the NICU. I saw the nurse feed, clean, monitor, and most importantly, show love to my baby sister. She was diligent and had her mind set to save my sister. With her help, the hole in my sister's heart had decreased significantly and my sister went home 4 days later. Without the Neonatal Nurse, my sister could have died. I want to be able to help other people; the same way that this nurse helped my sister.
