More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been babysitting for my moms friends and other people that lived near my old area, I dealt with a few kids with health concerns and I’ve dealt with toddlers, middle schoolers as well as high schoolers. I know it can be hard to trust someone who you’ve never met which is why I find it very important for myself to have an interview beforehand and also know what kind of kids I would be working with because that helps me settle in a mindset depending on each kid. I promise you and your kids will love me as much as my other clients beforehand and I will gain your trust as well as your kids this will also help me get even more experience in this area so id be very grateful for your help.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing games with kids, they usually like playing tag or hide and seek, I enjoy playing dolls with little girls at times, I’ve noticed the boys like more running around, if it’s better we could make some slime of course id clean it up, just some regular games and if I have to id go above and beyond with planning a whole play day for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say is making the children comfortable and letting them know I was there for games and to have fun but also that I had a task and I took it very seriously. Kids are the most pure souls in my opinion so I think they’d identify me with fun time while their parents would be back in a short time. The most important part is to let them know I just want them to have fun, but not too much

My experience with special needs children...

I used to take care of my moms friends kid she had severe autism, for some reason she really liked me and didn’t mind hugging me she’d enjoy watching a bit of cartoons, that’s how she’d calm down when she would get too overstimulated. I figured out sometimes she’d just need a break I noticed what kind of food she preferred so I tried adding in some carrots at times since she didn’t mind the crunchy texture. We got along pretty well and I thought she was the sweetest ever never once did I ever have a bad experience with her and she never cried while I was around.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved playing dolls with one of my clients youngest daughter, she was such a sweetheart. She was so silly when we’d play, I loved seeing how her imagination let her play out whatever we had going on I thought she was the cutest and very funny.
