A little bit about me

My name is Jenny Anderson, and I am genuinely excited to get to know your family and your baby! I have a B.A. in Psychology and over 20 years of experience caring for children as a babysitter, direct support professional, preschool assistant teacher, nanny, and foster parent. I understand how overwhelming it can be to entrust someone else with the care of your baby because I'm a mom as well! We adopted my son from foster care after a long NICU stay due to extreme prematurity. I aim to be not just a "babysitter" for my clients but a true professional and a parenting resource. I practice responsive, respectful, and gentle infant care and treat each child as I would my own. I am currently working on my newborn care specialist certification as well as my postpartum doula certification. My heart is for helping new families! I have thoroughly enjoyed being a stay at home foster parent and mom for the last seven years, and now I am currently looking for a part time position this fall.
