I'm an engaged and active person by nature, so the list of activities I would enjoy participating in with your children is only limited by your preferences. For indoor activities, although I'm tech savvy, I enjoy engaging children in reading, board games, free play, coloring and drawing, crafts, school work, and other depending on their ages. For outdoor activities, I enjoy adventuring with the children in their back yard, on walks and hikes, to parks, museums, theme parks (I have zoo and sea world memberships), the beach (if approved by parents), and cafes, etc. Even the grocery store is an opportunity for fun engagement and learning!

Even before I was a nanny and mom, I started as a busy 14 year old babysitter in a small Oregon town. My favorite person to babysit was a little girl who had a single mom who worked as a dispatcher. I enjoyed that the most, since the hours were long, we had a lot of time to bond, and play, and she learned to help me neaten up the house for her mom. She loved it when I gave her piggy back rides on the way to the park. I also taught her what my mom had taught me about healthy eating habits. We would often walk to the market for berries and she became excited to wash them up with me and eat them in lieu of the processed foods in her cupboards.
