Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in an elementary school for an after school program by the name of big buddy. We tutored and mentored children from grades pre-k to 5th. We provided meals for the children, helped them with homework & created different activities to help them engage and learn. I worked there for 2 years and enjoyed every moment of it! I have two Godchildren, a god-daughter who is six months & a god-son who is now two. I have cared for them from the time they were two weeks on and off for months. I am very present in there lives & watching them grow has been a blessing and joy for me! I believe my life has always been surrounded by caring for children and it is one of my purposes to keep shedding a lightness into the world.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy painting, I have taught children how to create sunsets, clocks, stars etc. I have also done makeshift camping trips, talent shoes and all things creative with them. I love the arts and I try my best to teach children that there imagination can take them anywhere they want!
