A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Jerricah I grew up in ElkHorn for 2 years then soon later moved to Iowa to raise my brother! Then around in 2017 for kindergarten, I moved to North Omaha! I love to cook, video games, pink,helping kids in need, caring for kids because it makes me feel like im looking back at my childhood self. I’m in the 7th grade and I’m currently in advanced reading. It’s currently summer break so I’m not sure all of the classes I have. I also really enjoy volleyball! When I play it, all my stress goes away. I enjoy music and helping others get out of their bubble if they feel comfortable with it. If I see someone who looks lonely I try to interact with them if they want to interact back! I’m currently trying to more languages instead of just one! I’m currently learning Spanish and plan to more at-least 5 more languages this year. I’m also a Christian but I won’t bring my beliefs up unless asked to avoid any disagreements. I’m generous,caring,kind and enthusiastic. That’s all about me!

Other times I worked with children were at school! Whenever a kid was upset Id help calm them down with words of praise,kindness,and affirmation to keep them going with there day with no problem! I helped with their work and the grades I helped with were k-3rd I also helped with some of the older kids before! 3-5th!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I like doing with children are coloring, playing games, teaching them how to cook but that’s only if they want to! I usually let the kids pick what they want to do as long as it’s child friendly and non dangerous!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve never actually been a nanny before. But I times I did babysit was cousins and siblings ! And one of my favorite times about that were teaching my 3 year old cousin how to read!
