I have 7 years of experience with working with students with special needs. I worked with students with special needs like, speech, reading/ writing, and social skill delays. I worked one on one with students and helped them engage in using social skills as needed. I also, took down data on students when needed too.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when one of my students I used to watch and had speech delay, read me 2 pages from the book they were reading. It was the most memorable moment for me because I had been working with them on sounding out words and putting sentences together. I will admit I did tear up because the student struggled with speaking full sentences and hearing them read it made me feel wholehearted
