I am a recent CSU alumni who graduated in Human Development and Family Studies. I am a responsible, nurturing, and patient individual with a genuine love for working with children! I have been caring for children since the beginning of my freshman year of high school and have 3 years of full-time nannying experience, along with professional daycare experience. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children in a daycare setting and also volunteered at my old elementary school for the BASE Camp program they have. This consisted of caring for children during after-school hours and creating fun, age-appropriate activities, as well as providing homework help until the children's parents could come pick them up!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going for walks/bike rides, going to the park, or going to the pool in the summer! During the colder months I enjoy staying in to do a craft, coloring, doing puzzles, building forts, or playing age-appropriate board games!

Building a trusting, nurturing relationship with both the child and the family. For parents, trust is everything. A great nanny communicates openly, respects the household values and routines, and becomes a good role model for the children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the young girl I was caring for took her very first steps! I had been watching her from before she could even hold her own head up and the day I saw her take her own steps, I was ecstatic! My favorite thing about nannying is being able to experience those amazing milestones with them and being such a big part in helping them grow and thrive.
