I enjoy learning by going to museums and the library to read books. There are many classes to go to like baby/child yoga, dance and music. I am also big on going to parks, lakes, hiking and many animal adventures, I am a big kid at heart.

A nanny is supposed to be apart of a families life. There to help the children learn how to navigate this fun, crazy and entertaining world. Nannies are with the family to nurture and care as if the littles are their own and provide as much assistance to the parents that is needed. A nanny should really love and be proud of their position.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked in a high school/residential youth center with autistic and behaviorally challenged students from the ages of 6 to 21. Consisting of teaching appropriate ways of learning daily living skills to vocational skills as well as assisting in physical and speach therapy needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I worked with a boy who was using the word "hate" for everything he did not like. For about two weeks I worked on saying, " We should say dislike because hate is a strong word." On the third week we were having dinner with his mom and she said she hated how someone was acting. He stood right up in his chair and said, "Mommy, we say dislike because hate is a strong word". I nearly cried! You may think you ad a nanny are teaching but you learn so much in the process.
