I’m a mom of one and grew up in a big family and a community that was very family oriented which meant I spent most of the earlier years of my life being an unpaid sitter to children of all ages. Officially I’ve only ever worked with one family who had the sweetest baby boy, he was 2 and on the autism spectrum. I also have a background with working with the elderly both in a facility based setting and private so I’m versed on meal prep and light housekeeping. I have valuable experience caring for children in various settings. I volunteered in the NICU during my school work experience, gaining hands-on skills with newborns. Additionally, I worked with a family of three, providing care for a newborn, an autistic toddler, and a teenager. This diverse experience has equipped me with the ability to meet the unique needs of children at different developmental stages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love spending time with children and have often been told that I am a child at heart. I enjoy engaging in a variety of activities with kids, such as playing games, having fun pool days, and going for walks. I also love drawing and painting, reading stories, doing puzzles, and baking treats together. Whether it's building forts, exploring nature, or just having a good laugh, I always aim to make our time together enjoyable and enriching. My goal is to create lasting memories and foster a love for exploration and creativity in every child I care for.

It’s about building trust and strong bonds, not just with the kids, but with their families as well. I have significant experience working with special needs children, including a rewarding year spent caring for an autistic toddler from birth. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the autistic non verbal toddler that I was working with one day randomly started singing along and imitating me while I sang the wheels on the bus and itsy bitsy spider. That moment is sealed into my heart.
