I worked as a elementary school paraprofessional with special needs children since 2016, I have done nanny care from 2010 to present and have been with my last family for the past 8 years. I taught an after school arts program through Young Rembrandts and I'm also a mom ❤️
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything arts and crafts!! I LOVE art projects and watching the creativity bloom!
Going for walks, playing at the park, swimming, hiking... Just exploring outside and seeing what we can learn from mother nature makes for a perfect day! Bring a picnic lunch and the day is perfect! 😉

The most important part about being a nanny...
To provide a caring, safe, fun and loving space for the children to grow and learn. To be an important part of helping the parents with tasks around the house, errands and organization - making sure things run smoothly so family time can focus on just that.. family and not have to be worrying about things that need to be done. Giving the parents peace of mind knowing that their children are safe and being well cared for. It's a busy job for sure, but it's so worth it!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with several different types of special needs, everything from medical (feeding tubes, diaper changes, wheelchairs, nonverbal and life skills) to behavioral and emotional issues. The age groups I have the most experience with are elementary and middle school ages, 1st grade thru 8th grade. I have experience in both home care and classroom management.
