Hello, my name is Jessica! I am a very creative and fun-loving person who enjoys anything and everything from yoga to hiking to painting or writing poetry. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and love to cook any and all kinds of food! I hold my Master’s degree in education and am a seasoned nanny and former teacher of 7+ years. I’ve taught many subjects from general science and Biology to all levels of Spanish, physical education, and even dance!! I also have experience as a gymnastics coach for pre-school through junior high. I am a very nurturing and responsible adult who loves to care for and inspire little ones. I am open and embracing of any and all family pets as well. I am the perfect nanny for you if you want your child(ren) to learn a second language, how to dance or do gymnastics, or have a fantastic care provider that can holistically take came of them from cooking to cleaning and transportation. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a 7-12th grade teacher of many subjects from science to Spanish to dance for 7+ years. I also have experience coaching gymnastics.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to paint and do crafts, build forts, play dress up and pretend, as well as play board games.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with a sister with autism whom I cared for until she was an adult. I volunteered to help her and her peers in many special needs sports and activities. I also spent some of my time during the school day helping facilitate dance activities for the self- contained classroom for students with varying disabilities.

Every time I’m asked to read just one more story before bedtime! I love when I get to read to children and inspire the curiosity for reading and literacy.
