Hello my name is Jessica im a 42 year old mother of two kids son 21 and daughter 15. I worked as a preschool teacher for 6 years working with 2.5-5 years. I was a nanny at the same time while teaching. I was CPR and First aid certified so it's just a matter of renewing that. Currently I am in the culinary field. So I am working as a Personal Chef right now. I love kids and enjoy being with them. Have a lot of experience with them from working with them and being a mother of two. I also have 6 nieces in total 4 are younger in age.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don't have an actual certification to work with special needs children,I must say that I have worked with several special needs children. Working at the school when I first began I was a floater in different classrooms and all the teachers would call me to deal with the special needs kids. I worked with children with Autism very smart gifted children. Kids with ADHD as well as ADD. Children with behavioral issues also. They just liked me and I made them feel comfortable!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Each child I have worked with has also left something special with me. One of my student Julian I will never forget loved when I rubbed his face so he could fall asleep durning nap time. Sweet Boy!
