"Jess cared for our kiddo from the time kiddo was 5 months old, until she was just about 18 months. The only reason our engagement ended was Covid, when the nanny share we were in dissolved due to lockdown.
Jess is very caring and calm, and it truly helped me as a new parent, to be able to hand my child off each workday morning knowing that she would be looking after my child. Jess always made sure to give us feedback from the day, which was super helpful, especially as we were navigating the change from bottles to solid food. My kiddo loved spending time with Jess (and her nanny share buddy).
Engagement and outdoor play is important, and Jess always made sure that both kids in the Nanny share had plenty of both.
Without hesitation, we recommend Jess to any parent seeking not just a caregiver, but a partner in nurturing their child's growth. If we ever decided to have another child there's no doubt in our minds – Jess would be our nanny in a heartbeat."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've worked as a school counselor in Philadelphia private and charter schools, a group therapist for neurodivergent kids (and their parents), and an individual therapist. I also have the honor of being an aunt to a 5 and 7 year old!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love crafts, reading, imaginative play, dancing, singing, creating games, going to the park, going to the library, and being in nature.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is being present for the moments when kids reveal who they are and how they understand the world. It is incredible to have the opportunity to shape some of that - but more than anything, it feels like an honor to witness moments when they demonstrate their own values and curiosity and care and be able to affirm them in that.
My experience with special needs children...
I facilitated social skills groups for children on the autism spectrum for four years. I also worked with children diagnosed with ADHD in individual and group therapy settings and supported their parents by connecting them to school-based resources.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many favorite nanny moments! A few that stand out to me are dancing with the two year old I took care of while at a music class in west Philly. Another was teaching one of the kids I cared for about culinary herbs and then hearing from his parents that he requested "more sage" in his dinner! I also remember the day that a 10 month old I nannied for really began to understand the sign for "more" and was requested more snacks, more songs, more play time with her cat, all day long!
