A little bit about me

I am a nannysaurus 🦖 here In Okc/Moore.I'm looking to fill daytime hours. I'm fine with full or part time, ideally I'd love 2 to 4 days a week. I have 4 kiddos at home, 18, 6, 5 and 3. All are in school except for 3 year old.

I'm very hands on. I love getting down on the floor and doing activities with the kiddos. With parents permission when it's the right season we usually get passes to the zoo, frontier city, Aquarium and science museum.

I also prefer to do nanny logs with my infants.It keeps track of how many diapers your baby went through, what they ate, drank, their mood that day and meds given, stuff like that.I love it because it gives my moms a little peace of mind because if your a mother you know how difficult it is leaving your child with a stranger.I also have an OPEN DOOR policy. Anytime I have your kiddos feel free to show up, do a pop up visit just to see how things are going. I 100% encourage that!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a few.

1. First of all always always always keep the parents in the loop and aware of everything daily.

2. When a child is throwing a tantrum try to remember us as adults throw tantrums as well and we are GROWN. Hear that child out without talking so much just listen. Alot of times they just want to be heard.

3. When the child is in the floor playing get down on the floor and play with him, interact. Explain things, discuss colors, shapes, count etc. Everything is a learning experience for them. Their brains are like little sponges.

4. Develop a trusting relationship with your nanny child. I can't say that enough!!!

We belive our 5 year old may be autistic so he just gonna referral from his Dr.

I also have years of experience with developmentally delayed children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When my 9 month old nanny baby FINALLY waved and said bye bye. I worked with him day in and day out, so when he finally did it I bawled my eyes out. Lol
