"Jill was not our first nanny, and not our last, but by far was the best of the best. In fact, our children dubbed her "The Best Nanny Ever" and still refer to her as that to this day when speaking of her.
Jill took care of our children in our home (and on various outings) for about four and a half years, during which time I grew to rely on her dependable, sensible, attentive, thoughtful care of our children. Her communication with me and my husband regarding anything and everything having to do with the kids was outstanding, leaving us feeling that we knew how their days went and confident that they were in good hands.

After graduating high school I was part of an early literacy program called Americorps Youngstown Reads Early. This program involved reading to preschool age children and getting them excited about books and doing fun activities and crafts related to the stories we read.
I earned my associates degree in Early Childhood Education and taught preschool for one year.
After that I worked as a nanny for a young child with autism as well as his younger brother. We worked on small motor skills (holding a folk, working with clay, etc) as well as large motor skills such as pedaling a bike. I also provided transportation to weekly therapy sessions.
Once I moved to Texas I became a nanny for a wonderful family of 2 young girls for 2 years. I took care of them until they moved to India.
I then worked as a nanny for a family of a little boy and girl for 4 years until the birth of my oldest daughter.
Every family that I nanny for becomes like family!
