In high school I was part of Clovis North's Educational Center's CTE Careers in Education program! My junior and senior year consisted of being a teachers aid in a kindergarten classroom! I mainly helped children who were struggling to read and write as well as working through hard emotions for the AM kinder kiddos!
My first year of college I worked at Clovis Community’s Child Development Center as Lab Assistant in the toddler room! There I worked with 2.5-4 year old's! I loved every second of it! What I did there was more in-depth!
After the pandemic hit, I couldn’t work there anymore so I decided to nanny for a family friend! It was quite challenging given their family situation but nevertheless I persisted!
