My experience with special needs children...
I grew up with twin boys who were born premature and with autism and that greatly raised my awareness. I have babysat a 2 year old girl with Down syndrome on many occasions. I babysat a 2 year old boy who was on the spectrum for a little over 3 years.

I was babysitting for a set of twins and had just combed out my fro before waking them up and I felt cute only for them to wake up and say my hair looked messy and that I needed to go do it.😂
