More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a babysitter ever since I was 13 years old and have worked for three different families. I have worked with children from around 6 months old to 8 years old. One of the families I cared for had a three year old child with special needs who I cared for and had to keep a constant eye on but I loved getting to work with her. My favorite part of this job is getting to watch the children grow and being apart of it.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm open to do what the families are okay with and children enjoy doing. I'll play outside, play board games, video games, card games, playing with toys, etc. I am also willing to bring the children places, of course if it is okay with the family, and to help out with homework.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is the children. That may seem obvious but it is true, you have to always be thinking about the safety and wellbeing of the children, you have to show them love and help to make an impact on their childhood so that they grow up to be great adults and the cycle will continue. Children are our future adults so them having a healthy and happy upbringing is so important so they can be impactful members of society and so they can develop to be stable human beings.
My experience with special needs children...
As I mentioned one of the families I babysat for had a special needs child who I cared for, for a few months. I helped her with school, fed her, out her down for naps, bathed her, changed her diaper, cleaned up after her, played with her, and overall had to keep a watchful eye on her. It was a very rewarding experience and I loved the opportunity I had to work with her and am open to helping with a child with special needs again.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment I actually wasn't there for; one of the families I babysat for were also close family friends with my family and one day the girls' mother was talking about how my parents and I were going over for dinner and one of the little girls kept saying, "I can't wait to see my babysitter Jiniah" and referred to me as that for a good few months. It's my favorite cause it makes me feel like I made an impact on the family and shows me that they enjoy having me around.

Helping children learn, grow, and have fun is what I love most! I’m currently majoring in Elementary Education and have over eight years of babysitting experience caring for children of all ages. I’ve also spent the past six summers as a camp counselor, creating engaging, safe, and memorable experiences for kids. One of my favorite accomplishments was starting my own neighborhood summer camp, where I planned games, crafts, and activities for local children. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, a strong swimmer, and happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation. I strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while keeping parents updated and giving them peace of mind.

Hi,
I am a mom of 4, but mine are mostly grown 20, 18, 17, and 14. I very much enjoy children. I love to go to the library, nature walks, and make crafts that are related to our adventure. A few of mine have had some sensory issues, as well as ADHD, and dyslexia. I have educated myself and read a ton on the subjects to meet their needs. Routine and structure with fun is my favorite. Please reach out if, interested. I have coached and have my CPR and first aid a long with concussion protocol requirements.
