More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer at church in the children’s ministry.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging kids in creative, hands-on activities that support their development and spark joy. Whether it’s sensory play, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, or reading together, I enjoy meeting kids where they’re at and making everyday moments meaningful. I also love encouraging independence through routines and supporting emotional growth through calm, nurturing connection.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and the family. It’s about showing up with consistency, patience, and heart—being a steady presence through all the little moments that make up a child’s day. It’s also about truly seeing each child for who they are and supporting their growth with care, intention, and love.

My experience with special needs children...

While working with my first family, I cared for their son from 5 months to 8 years old, who had sensory processing challenges. I regularly brought him to therapy sessions and consistently implemented strategies at home to support his progress. I created a calm, responsive environment tailored to his needs, helping him build confidence and navigate daily routines with greater ease.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when a child does something for the first time—whether it’s taking their first steps, saying a new word, or overcoming something they’ve been working hard on. Being there to cheer them on in those little milestones, and seeing the pride on their face, is such a special part of this work. Those moments stick with you.

Carlos G. - Seeking Work in Phoenix

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Phoenix, AZ: Carlos G.

Hi- My name is Carlos Galaviz and I am currently a full-time employee at an ABA clinic in Chandler, Arizona. I am offering child care services around the Phoenix area.

When I first started working with children, on a professional level, since fall of 2022, I knew I discovered a new love and passion for working with children and I have not look back since then. In addition, since I am the second oldest sibling of the five siblings in my immediate family, I have taken care of my two younger sisters and one younger brother from the time they were born until the time they turned 10 years old. My responsibilities have included laundry washing, taking out the trash, watering the plants, wishing the dishes, driving to/from school, running errands, building crafts, tutoring, and cooking.

Plus, I am not allergic or have allergy reactions to any food products, fabric materials, and animals.
