More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in ECE as a preschool teacher as well as a toddler teacher. I loved (and still love) working with children at that age.
I have worked as a part time babysitter for 2 boys ages 6 & 9. Those ages are super fun ages & hadn’t previously worked with either of those ages at my preschool job but quickly found it to be super fun
I then moved to the netherlands & became an au pair to a 3 year old boy

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite things to do with children is spend quality time with them whether that be indoors, outdoors, and/or both. I love watching children grow their developmental skills such as fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, and social-emotional. Taking walks around the neighborhood, playing at the park, or doing indoor activities such as museums are all things I love to do. Some indoor activities that I love to do with younger children to enhance developmental skills are arts & crafts such as painting, coloring, and cutting/gluing paper, manipulatives such as legos, “mr. potato head,” and magnet tiles. With my older kids, we quite enjoy playing any sport you can think of outside running around having a fun time. Origami & painting are also a big hit! There are endless amount of activities I can and will do with children and I love trying and finding new things to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, being a nanny is such a fulfilling job. You get to watch a child grow in real-time, support/teach them new things and celebrate the experiences they have in life. It familiarizes you in being a parent and equips you in dealing with your kids and in others helps you relieve parenting again.

I had the most fun when babysitting the family who had two sons (6&9). That was my first time working with that age so i didn’t know what to expect going into it. They quickly became some of my favorite people. We had the best time playing any sports game one could imagine, figuring out how to do a rubix cube together, & endless hours of them showing me the new trick they learned or the cool game their friend taught them. There’s no one specific moment that’s my favorite because all the moments are my favorite.
