Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite way to connect with children is through meaningful, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and conversation. I love reading together, doing arts and crafts, and engaging in hands-on play that allows kids to express themselves and build confidence.
I also enjoy incorporating structure into fun—whether that’s guided play, simple learning activities, outdoor time, or helping with routines like meals and clean-up. These moments create opportunities for connection while teaching responsibility and independence.
Most importantly, I connect with children by being present, listening to them, and meeting them where they are. Building trust and a sense of safety allows kids to feel comfortable being themselves, which is when the strongest bonds are formed.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. A nanny is more than a caregiver—we become a positive role model, a dependable source of comfort, and a partner to parents in helping children learn, build confidence, and reach important milestones. Building strong relationships based on trust, communication, and consistency with both the children and their family is what makes a nanny truly successful.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with individuals with special needs in both educational and personal settings. During middle school and high school, I served as a teacher’s aide in special education classrooms, where I spent multiple class periods assisting students with their daily activities, academics, and classroom engagement. This experience helped me develop patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to each individual’s unique needs.
In addition, I have personal experience supporting Fran, an adult with special needs, which has further strengthened my understanding of providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care. These experiences have given me a genuine passion for working with individuals of all abilities and creating a positive, supportive environment where they can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is watching a child accomplish something they’ve been working hard to achieve—whether it’s learning to read, tying their shoes, riding a bike, or simply gaining the confidence to try something new. Seeing their excitement and pride in themselves is incredibly rewarding. Being able to encourage, support, and celebrate those milestones while building a trusting relationship with both the child and their family is what makes caring for children so meaningful to me.
