Hi there! I have worked with kids for over five years now. Ranging from 3 1/2 months to 11 year olds. I’m comfortable watching, playing, feeding and going on small adventures together! I like taking the kids to playgrounds, going on walks and going swimming! A little about myself, I got married over two years ago. We have been together now for eleven years. We met while working at Trader Joe's in Santa Barbara. We have a one year old puppy who brings in a lot of excitement and energy into our home. We have two cats (sisters) named Sylvie and Talulah. They are a ton of fun! I enjoy reading, doing crafts, going to hockey and baseball games, and playing boardgames with friends. I collect legos, and enjoy playing dnd. I am a nerd at heart. :) Anyway, I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your precious family and to see where this will go!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Communication is by far the important part of being a nanny. I like to keep an open communication with the caregivers at all times. It is important for the parent to know their child is safe and well looked after. I communicate with them about the childs eating schedule, nap times, and any new developments that I notice. I also believe that education is important, so I do take time to focus on developing key skills with the child.

My experience with special needs children...

Unfortunately I do not have experience with special needs children, but I am willing to learn if I am the right fit for you and your family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would be when I was finally given a name by a little girl I was watching. She was learning to speak and had trouble saying my name Jodi. I helped her sound it out and instead of Jodi it became Jojo. It is now my nickname for all the kids I watch.
