"Johana is kind, warm, reliable and punctual, honest and, most importantly, my children lover her! Johana is a joy to be around and a wonderful nanny. I have 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 8. They love her! She plays attentively with my 3 year old, who gives her a hug each morning. She makes him beautifully thoughtful breakfasts (kitty cat pancakes for instance). She talks and sings with him, in addition to caring for him. Johana is also wonderful and caring to my other 2 older boys. At 5 and 8 years old, she talks and plays for the older boys as well at their level. Talking about music, about her culture, teaching them Spanish because they are interested. They also adore her. In the U.S., I have worked as a mother’s helper for a family with three children (ages 3, 5, and 8), supporting daily routines, meal prep, and activities.

Most recently, I worked as a nanny for a baby starting at 4 months old, providing full-time care including feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when a little boy I cared for learned how to go down the slide on his own after we had practiced together many times. Seeing his excitement and confidence grow in that moment was so rewarding.
