A little bit about me

My name is Joli, I am 21 years old and I am expecting my first child in February! I was introduced to the big world of babysitting and caregiving at a very young age. I am one of five children myself so I have always taken care of my younger siblings. On top of that, I have also worked at the Revere Rec Center since I was 13 years old. I started volunteering here as soon as I grew out of the classes and as soon as I was eligible to be hired, I began working here! I have always worked with the kids whether it be for sports activities, arts and craft classes, cooking classes or even just day to day after school programs. I have been here for about 8 years and have grown many connections with the children and their families. There is about 10 families that I have continued to assist with my babysitting services outside the Rec Center. This is truly something I love to do, I love to take care of children and be of help as much as I can be!

What matters most to me about being a nanny is creating a strong enough bond with the kids that they feel comfortable being around me as well as the families feel comfortable having me around. I love to be of help so to me, doing whatever it is that I can do for the families to take some stress off their plate is also extremely important to me!
