I think the most important part about babysitting/being a nanny is providing comfortability to families and being that person that can take care of things that may be a struggle to tackle without extra help.

Every summer when i volunteer with south east Texas stages interact program i make such strong connections with the kids in the program. It truly taught me how to be patient and empathetic while also targeting areas that we could help such as socialization or getting the kids out of their shells. It is the highlight of my year every year getting to see all of their hard work come true at the end of the summer.
