I babysat many foster children. The main was was a boy I cared for from age 3-9. His needs varied from feeding tubes to just dealing with overstimulation meltdowns as he is autistic with other health issues.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching them be creative and play!! I’ve once held a ‘movie theater’ day where we made fake tickets and pretended they were going to the movies! Dimmed the lights, made fake tickets and set out a selection of candies and popcorn they could ‘buy’ with fake money.
