More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a family with two children that I have worked with for years. The older child is a girl that is now 12 and the younger child is a boy that is almost 9. I have been working with the family as a babysitter as well as occasionally working as a nanny for them since the older girl was 2.
I also have multiple friends with young children that I have babysat since infancy as well as two nieces who are 2 1/2 years and nine months old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games, swimming, puzzles, watching movies or cartoons, cooking and baking, going to the park, playing outside, walking a dog or just going for walks, art projects, the list goes on and on!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that the children are safe and nurtured in the way that every person needs to me. Each kid is individual and the needs of everyone are completely different so it is so important to get to know what works for everyone individually to best find how to tend to their needs.
I also think that open communication with parents is crucial because while it is a nanny's job to watch the children while their parents are busy, consistency in bahavior modeling, discipline, and the overall way that a child should be brought up in the world is up to their parents. I like to contiuously ask questions of the parents that I work with so that I can ensure that I am making the best decisions for their childrena and their family overall!

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked as a paraprofessional for children that have autism as well as nonverbal children. I also have experience with children that have developmental disabilities as well as physical disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The little girl that I have babysat for almost 11 years once told me that having me around "is like having an older sister who is actually nice all the time and doesn't steal my stuff."
That was a great moment for me!

Part-Time Nanny Available in St. Louis Park, MN: Mykaila C.
Hi there! My name is Mykaila — I’m 23 years old and someone who’s passionate about the outdoors, good coffee, & anything and everything colorful. Since I was 16, I’ve had the opportunity to work in daycares, and that’s where my love for kids truly began to grow. There’s something so special about watching children explore the world with curiosity, joy, and wonder. I’m constantly amazed at how they soak up the little things and how each child is uniquely made with so much potential. Being a part of their growth, whether that’s helping them learn how to share, explore nature, or discover new things—is one of the most fulfilling parts of my life.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. Whether that’s going for walks, or just enjoying nature with a cup of coffee in hand. I find that being outside helps me feel refreshed and it’s often where I feel closest to God.
I truly believe life is better when we share it with others, and I’m excited to see how our paths might cross.

Full-Time Nanny Available in St. Louis Park, MN: Henry H.
Hi, my name is Henry! I'm currently a sophomore at Arizona State University and double majoring in finance and marketing. Some of my hobbies are photography and videography, exploring nature, and sports! My interest in nannying stems from my childhood in which I had a male nanny. As much as I did thoroughly enjoy all the nanny's I had, he always found interest in what I was doing and would participate whether it was school work or driveway basketball. Because of this, I was much more willing to do my daily chores and school work as I knew a fun day was always ahead. With that being said, you can expect a similar approach from me!
