I’m a pretty creative person so if your kids are into arts and crafts I think I would be a good match! I also love music and would be willing to teach piano basics or some guitar chords for fun, as well as do activities or games outside as well (with prior approval from the parents). My siblings are in the age range of 9-17, so I’m well-versed in popular activities for kids of those ages.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Engaging with the kids! I think children need more than a screen in their life and should learn to be creative and explore nature and establish good connections with their peers, and I would love to help encourage kids to do so and to lean into doing what they love.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a child with extreme depression from an early age and was not able to communicate very well; I have not had much experience other than that as of right now.
