More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered with special needs children all throughout highschool through a club called FNL where we volunteered. I also helped out growing up around my church with the children in the daycare. I babysat for a small bit of cash in early highschool for 2 years for my parents friends kids as well. Along with that, I have a young sister whom I’m always taken care of and a special needs brother who needs high assistance. I plan on taking care of my brother after my parents pass and for the rest of my life as well, taking care of people is what I love best!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to read to children, color, puzzle, paint, outdoor activities, cook, bake, arts and crafts, sports, and ect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me is making sure the kids are happy and healthy. The parent matters just as much, but the priority goal is to make sure the child is out of harms way and feels safe in my presence.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother has special needs and my whole life Ive had to help take care of him. He used to be nonverbal and only eat nuggets and fries, with my help I expanded his food pallet and helped him communicate and socially be present in the world. He still struggles, but everyday he gets better with help. I plan to take care of him for the rest of my life, and I plan to hold your kids to the same standard of care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Playing with this boy I babysat in his garage my freshman year of highschool, we would play dodgeball and he would try to throw the balls at me and he’d get frustrated because I was good at dodging haha! He was a sweet kid.
