Caring for children has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and it’s one of the reasons I’m pursuing a career in healthcare. For two years, I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, a mentorship program that pairs adult and teen mentors with children who benefit from having a consistent, positive role model. During that time, I mentored a young boy with autism, spending quality time with him, encouraging his growth, and building a trusting relationship through patience, understanding, and fun activities.
In addition to mentoring, I have regularly babysat my younger cousins, helping with meals, playtime, bedtime routines, and keeping them engaged in a safe and caring environment. Those experiences taught me how important it is to be dependable, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s unique personality and needs.

I love planning fun, age-appropriate activities that keep kids active, engaged, and smiling. Some of my favorite things to do include beach walks, trips to the trampoline park, arts and crafts, outdoor games, reading books, baking simple treats together, and movie nights at home. I enjoy creating a balance of fun, creativity, and learning while making sure children always feel safe, included, and supported.
