A little bit about me

Hi! I'm a 25-year-old UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Molecular Environmental Biology. I recently completed a postbaccalaureate program at UC Davis as I prepare for a career in medicine and have now moved back home to Los Angeles!

As the oldest of five siblings, I've spent years caring for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I babysat throughout high school and, more recently, worked with a wonderful family while living in Davis. Now that I'm back in LA, I'd love to find a family to babysit for here!

I also worked as a Kumon tutor and am happy to help with English, math, and homework. My experience working as a medical assistant has also made me responsible, attentive, and comfortable caring for others. I'm reliable, patient, and easygoing, and I enjoy reading, baking, going for walks, and finding fun activities to do with kids!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in numerous programs with children. I was a basketball coach for middle schoolers, I volunteered in after school programs and summer programs for children ages 5-15. I also worked as a Kumon tutor for ages from Kinder to high schoolers.

Along with those prior experiences, I was also a part of a club that mentored and tutored elementary and middle school students!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love both a relaxed environment for children who like a slower pace as well as a much more active role for those who have tons of energy! That can include anything from baking, imaginative role play, reading, coloring, biking, running around, and various sports !
