My experience with special needs children...
I am majoring in Recreational Therapy. My older brother has Autism and I have always been passionate about psychology and promoting acceptance and awareness. I cannot wait to work out in the community with children that have special needs in order to improve social skills and behaviors by practicing everyday interactions. I have spent several years peer tutoring and volunteering one on one with individuals that have disabilities.
