More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I grew up in a big family so I was always surrounded by babies and small children, which definitely helped me gain experience with child care. I got my first professional child care job working as an assistant teacher at a classical conversation practicum conference. Although it was a short summer job that only lasted 4 days, I ended up loving it so much that I decided to work there again the following summer. As a teen I also helped with vacation Bible study and children’s bible study at my church. In 2017 I went on a mission trip to Haiti, my home country. While in Haiti, I went to a few orphanages and got to play with the children and love on them, it was such an emotional & beautiful experience that I will never forget. After moving to Florida I worked at Calvary Chapel Academy as an After Care Worker for 3 months. My two most recent child care jobs have been a pre-k teacher at Mustard Seed Kidz for 6 months and my current job, an after school teacher at Champions.
