Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I mostly volunteer with children. I have been helping out a family of 5 for the past year and a half. The kids range from 1 years old to 7 years old. Along with this, I have also volunteered for church groups that include taking care of 10+ kids at a time.
I also have volunteered with Urban Youth Impact in the kids after school program for the kindergarten class.

Anything the kids enjoy that keeps them off of devices; Board Games, reading, assisting with homework, fishing, going outside to play...
The most important part about being a nanny...
Assisting a mother is honorable, being a nanny is a way to be extra hands and to only enhance the parenting styles of the parents. Being a nanny is a way to love, nurture, and care for children as an extension to the parents. Helping in any way possible for the benefit and growth of the children.

I don't have any experience but I have a very patient heart that would love the opportunity to step into helping special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
watching the boys go from talking about their flag football dreams every time to then see them play on the field their first touchdowns!

My twins are now 24 years and living north of Chicago and NY City. I have missed them dearly since their graduation from College. I welcome any assistance to your family on weekends or occasional nights when you may have dinner plans. I am up for walking & accompanying on any golf courses (including taking them for golf practice sessions, lessons, tournaments (AJGA, FSGA. PKBT, etc..) and/or just watching playing holes; my daughter played D1 golf! Also I love to go to the pool and can stay for as long as the children would like. Taking to and from any Sport events is literally second nature for me. I am happy to meal prep as well as go on grocery store visits and light housework so essentially a parent’s weekend helper. No smoking; fine on overnight stays. With kindness ✨.
