I have worked as a full-time nanny, special needs nanny, babysitter, and preschool teacher, caring for infants through school-aged children. I have changed diapers, prepared bottles and meals, managed nap schedules, transported children to school and extracurricular activities, and maintained structured daily routines.
I have extensive experience supporting children with special needs, including implementing personalized care plans, providing sensory integration activities, using positive reinforcement to improve behavior, and deescalating challenging behaviors safely. I have administered prescribed medications, monitored for signs of illness or distress, and maintained communication with parents regarding developmental progress and concerns.
As a former teacher at Red Wagon Learning Center, I designed educational activities, implemented behavioral interventions, and maintained consistent parent communication.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Dancing, reading, overall fun learning activities especially ones that aid in cognitive and motor development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Bonding with the kids when we first meet and creating lifetime relationships
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, GRIN1 , and traumatic brain injuries. I have supported both verbal and nonverbal children, including those with mobility challenges and complex medical needs. My responsibilities have included implementing individualized care plans, facilitating sensory integration activities, supporting communication development, assisting with mobility and daily living skills, and promoting independence through structured routines. I use positive reinforcement and crisis management strategies to safely deescalate challenging behaviors. I have administered prescribed medications, monitored for seizures and signs of medical distress, and followed established safety protocols. My medical background and certifications in CPR, BLS, First Aid, and Medication Administration allow me to provide attentive, structured, and medically informed care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
So far of the three families I work with I really bonded with 2. Morning hugs with Serene are my favorite part of Thursday and Friday.

I am an elementary teacher with a degree in elementary education. I have worked with children for 7+years. I have several references if needed as well. I love working with children of all ages but I am a sucker for the babies/infants. I love to do activities with the children and have recently been exploring a lot of sensory play and activities to help advance children where developmentally appropriate.
