More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have years of experience working with children. I have babysat and nannied for many families between Dallas, Texas and Ames, Iowa. I also spent a large part of my time as a youth leader working with teens from 6th to 12th grade at my church. I would often work in children's aswell with kids ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Taking walks, building crafts, playing tag, creature rescue, adventure walks/ scavenger hunts, cooking, and baking.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe there 2 things that are the most important when it comes to being a nanny. The first one is safety; I take the safety of the children I nanny extremely serious. Treating your children as if they were my own, I will take all the necessary precautions to ensure they are always safe. The second thing is, fun. I am filled with energy and fueled by adventure, so fun is always on the table. No adventure is too big and, no activity is too boring. I even make math and reading fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One day after a heavy morning storm we built paper boats and walked around the neighborhood floating them in different puddles to see how far they would go. We even went as far as putting small dinosaurs in the boats.
