A little bit about me

My name is Joyce. I was living in Harlem but moved back home with my family due to the pandemic. I’m looking for work in EITHER area (NYC/NJ). I am able to commute throughout the boroughs as well as Jersey. I’m looking for a family to extend my time and skills to. Since my brother was born 13 years ago, I’ve learned to take on a caregiver role. He has several health conditions due to being a premie- baby.
As far as paid work, I’ve been nannying since immediately after highschool. I’ve done everything from after school part time nanny jobs, overnight jobs, mother’s helper, etc. I’m also a student that is currently on a break, but taking courses in Early Childhood Education. I’m an enthusiastic, positive person so I’m able to get along with children very well. I have an open flexible schedule and I adapt easily.
I am adjusting to working in New Jersey again as a nanny so I currently do not have a car. I’m working on my liscense, as I currently have my permit.
