I teach at my church on everyday 4th Sunday of the month! I do all the way from 3yrs to 5th graders and up!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am very goofy so I love to play any games that make the kids laugh! I have a bunch of board games and also bring a few toys with me depending on the age. I love the outdoors and to let the kids get fresh air. I am an athlete so anything active is no challenge for me!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing in my opinion is to care for the kids as if they were my own. Giving top tier care and support for any and all needs they may have. Not just do the job but make the environment feel like a comfortable and safe space. I want to bring the joy and love that my parents gave me to every child as we shape the next generation by what we do, say, and who we are. Every moment counts and each experience is special!
My experience with special needs children...
My step brother has down syndrome and he’s been in my life since I was 7. He’s so special to me and I defend/look after him as if he’s mine lol! I’ve helped take care of him ever since I was capable too. Not a problem for me as I understand the complications or certain needs that come with certain disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was teaching in Sunday school and this little boy comes up to me and just sits in my arms. He grabbed a white board and marker and just started drawing these characters. He told me that he was drawing me as a marvel character as “Super miss Joz” the Sunday school hero and it was one of the cutest things I’ve seen! I still have the white board to this day.
