More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As I grew up, I gained experience caring for children by helping to raise my younger brother, who is nine years my junior. This allowed me to learn how to change diapers, bathe him, and perform other childcare tasks from the start. During the pandemic, I took on more responsibilities, such as feeding him, picking him up from school, and helping with his homework. My parents worked full-time, so I was happy to help out and keep learning.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy drawing and learning numbers and shapes together, and then going for a run and exploring the park, discovering new places and sounds. I also delight in listening to their stories and learning from their fresh and curious perspectives. And at the table, I like teaching them to eat healthily and to explore food with their senses, touching, smelling, and savoring each bite, so they develop a healthy relationship with food and their own bodies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
- Establish a strong emotional connection with the children
- Help them feel safe and confident
- Foster their emotional and social development
- Help them resolve conflicts and overcome challenges
- Provide them with a supportive and loving environment

My experience with special needs children...
I've had the opportunity to share time with children with special needs. My cousin is autistic, so I understand when they need their space or when they don't want to be touched too strongly. I also know the importance of being patient with them. I completely get it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love learning from the kids I care for. They're my most valuable teachers, especially now that I'm learning a new language.

Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Cecilia Z.
I am a very patient person who truly loves children—for out of computer work, I have chosen to pursue work that involves caring for infants and young children—something I am deeply passionate about. I personally raised both of my own children from birth until they started kindergarten. In my spare time, I also frequently volunteer to look after the infants and children of my colleagues and friends for short periods. Beyond managing their daily needs—such as feeding, bathing, hygiene, and toileting—I engage with them through activities tailored to their age, personality, and physical abilities. These include games, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, reading and counting, storytelling, basic Chinese martial arts, outdoor play, and exploring the world around them. I also teach them manners and social norms, all of which foster their intellectual and physical growth, motor skills, imagination, and character development. Finally, I am a tidy person who enjoys cooking
