I LOVE reading to children. It's fun and one of the best ways to develop early literacy skills. I love playing in nature with kids. I am a skilled "crafter" and love making art with kids. I love to sing and dance with kids. I don't have the best voice but, it's not the worst either. Cooking/baking is also an activity I enjoy to share. I am an nice Italian girl from New Jersey where my grandmother taught me how to make everything from scratch.
Above all, I love encouraging children to be (age-appropriately) independent. I believe self sufficiency helps build confidence and self esteem. I prefer for children in my care do not use electronic devices as an activity.
