Hello, my name is Julia and this May 2018 I will be graduating from The University of Memphis with a degree in Teaching all Learners k-5 with a special education licensure (k-12). I have previous experience living and working overseas as an au pair in Ireland and Turkey and have gained an insight to the cross-cultural adjustment. While working as an Au pair in Turkey, I also assisted the teachers at a Montessori preschool. As an au pair in Ireland, I minded 4 children between grades 1st through 5th grade. I was able to assist them with homework and school projects during my time there. My background in the arts also allows me to acknowledge the diversity of individual students.
