Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kiddos on fun outings like; going to museums and aquariums, local parks, splash pads, mini golfing, bowling, trampoline parks, and zoos. For days when it's not so nice outside, I usually do fun seasonal crafts and games like uno, war, pie face, and guess who. Manhunt or, sardines, around the house is always a kid favorite (and mine too). Building forts and making a little scavenger hunt for the kids are also fun. I am a big music enthusiast and a singer so I will take any opportunity to teach the kids a new song and dance move.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What I value most about being a nanny is making a difference in the home. Whether that be in a child's routine, noticing positive behavior changes, etc. I really enjoy my time with the kids but it all comes down to the parents making it a welcoming environment for me too. It makes a difference in how you view you role when you feel appreciated and supported by a family.

Teaching one of my nanny kids how to use a swing and seeing how proud of themselves they were.
