A little bit about me

Hello my name is Julia, I am 24 years old, I am from Brazil but I’ve been here in US for almost 2 years in an Au Pair program, living and working with the same family. I take care of 3 sweet kids, when I got in United States two of them were 4 years old (a girl and a boy) and another boy 7 years old. The boy 4 years old is a little special so it was very new to me, but I like it, I met a great kid and learned a lot with him. I’m also studying to be a language teacher, I study online, it doesn’t disturb me at all, my English is good and I’m also learning Spanish and I just started French too but my language is Portuguese, I’m very easy-going, responsible, friendly, pontual, I respect the people a lot, I think respect is something very important, I also try to do my best at work and to be honest I treat the kids like my little brothers and sister.
I’m looking for live in since I don’t have a car yet, but I drive.
I don’t smoke and I’m full vaccinated.

I have experience with kids of different ages and also special kids, I am also studying to be a teacher and my purpose is teaching kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on the age of the kid we will do different things together but in general, we will always find a way to have fun.
Some little kids love playing pretending games, hide and seek, playing with dolls, play with water, Play-Doh, Leggo’s and others older kids love playing soccer, board games, they like going to the different parks, play tag, water balloon toss, capture the flag and other things. There are also a lot of fun games we learn with the kids and I enjoy having fun with them, I like to see that they are happy, I think their happiness is what is the most important thing, I enjoy anything as long as it’s safe for them and it’s making them happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is that you can make a big difference in people’s life, you can also make good friends or make a family. I treat the kids like a family, brothers and sisters and I think when the nanny works with love it makes all the difference, you care about the kid, about their development, about how he is feeling and you try your best to be a fun nanny and a good friend for the kid, I think being a nanny is being a teacher of life and at the same time a student, because we learn a lot with the kids.

Every little memory I have with them is special but my favorite moment is when I see I helped them in their development somehow, when I see they can do something they couldn't do before and they get very excited, I get very happy to see them
