With summer rolling around I love the outdoors! Once familiar with the area that I’m in, I can be open to bring the children out to do various outdoor activities. Whether that includes little activities around the home or out to a playground. I also played soccer in high school so I do well with kids who enjoy sports!
My experience with special needs children...
During high school is when I really started to notice my passion for Education. Unfortunately the high school that I was attending wasn’t very diverse and did not showcase our students with special needs. Due to this, I spent the duration my high school career in Teaching Pathways. Teaching Pathways was program in which I specifically assisted students with special needs. I learned how to listen and communicate efficiently, teach life skills and build relationships with these students.
