As a nanny, I love engaging kids in fun and meaningful activities that help them learn and grow. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, whether it’s painting, coloring, or making fun DIY projects together. I also like spending time outside playing games, going for walks, or visiting the park to burn off energy and explore nature. Reading books aloud is one of my favorite quiet-time activities, especially when I get to use different voices and make the story come alive. I also enjoy helping with learning activities like simple math games, puzzles, or practicing the alphabet. Most of all, I love building strong, trusting relationships with the children I care for and creating a safe and happy environment where they feel loved and encouraged.

I have experience working with individuals with special needs from my time as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Cedar Lake. In that role, I supported adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities by assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal prep, medication, and helping them build independence. My time there taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adapting to each person’s unique needs. It also gave me a strong understanding of how to handle challenging behaviors calmly and with compassion. That experience helped shape my passion for caregiving and continues to influence the way I care for and connect with others.
