Hello my name is Julie, I'm currently a nanny/House manager for a family of two children in Glenview, mother decided after maternity that she wanted to go part time and no longer need to full-time help. I have over 25 years of experience as a career nanny. I have worked in many different settings, with newborns, multiples, toddlers and up. I'm a very hands-on nanny, love outdoor activities as much as possible year round, I feel outdoors is better than sitting on electronics inside. I will bring my own crafts, age-appropriate/curriculum to work with the children preparing them for school. My tasks are keeping the children's clothing, bedrooms and bathrooms clean a bit around the house. Groceries, dry-cleaning, Drop off and pick ups.

I was licensed Home preschool with DCFS for 15 years before coming to be a nanny, I only closed down due moving to the suburbs and just wanted to become a nanny/Manager great decision because it’s my love and passion

Becoming a part of New families, helping raise their children the way they would want their children raised. Being able to explore, teach and just have fun with the children is an amazing part of being an Nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

A family I worked with 20 years ago had a child with autism. It was a little bit of a challenge, but worked with them five years and he became a very productive young man. The family I work with at this time has a two-year-old daughter with severe food allergies and I had to come up with menus that she was able to eat Without so many ingredients I couldn’t eat.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There’s so many but just seeing as I say, my babies grow up and go to school and turn into wonderful young adults is so rewarding.
