I have a strong belief in active experiences for all children. I am open to whatever is important to the family. I love the outdoors, I take my grandson to parks, on hikes and any local activities available. I am a very social person and enjoy watching children learn from encounters with others. My experience with special needs children...
I have had experience with a wide variety of needs. I helped raise my baby brothers who have cerebral palsy, we did years of physical and occupational therapy through childhood. I also have a nephew that has Downs and I help raise him in my home. This includes working with special needs classrooms as well as many doctors to look after his medical needs. My experience as a EMT and now as a State of NM employee has given me experience with a wide range of clientele and this is a non issue with me.
